Boys’ school blown up in Jamrud

LANDIKOTAL: A government boys’ primary school was blown up by unidentified terrorists in the late hours of Saturday in Bakrabad in the jurisdiction of Jamrud, local and political administration sources said. As per reports, an explosive device was placed inside the Haji Mawez Kaley Government Boys’ Primary School on Saturday night, which, on detonation, completely destroyed two rooms, a veranda and the boundary wall of the school. However, no loss of life was reported in the incident. The attack brings to 3, the total number of schools destroyed in Jamrud while the tally stands at 40 in the whole of Khyber agency. sudhir ahmad afridi
