PPP MPA joins PTI

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member of Punjab Assembly (PA) Malik Khurram Ali Khan on Friday announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Addressing a press conference on Friday at National Press Club and said he not only resigned from his party membership and but also from PA seat PP-18 (Attock) in the larger interest of my voters. “I have taken the decision after consultation with my constituency’s people and following the voice of my conscience as the country is passing through its history worst economic and political problems just because of wrong and anti-masses policies of PPP leadership,” he explained. He recalled he had joined the PPP as political vision of Benazir Bhutto deeply inspired him; however, her successor did not follow the deceased’s vision in true spirit and badly failed to provide any relief to the people. Khan further said, he decided to join PTI as masses had got fed up of both major political parties of the country, adding leadership of both the parties absolutely failed to redress the crises being faced by the country. staff report
