Terrorists blow up gas pipeline in Dera Bugti

QUETTA: Unidentified terrorists blew up a gas pipeline near Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti on Thursday. According to the official sources, the explosive device was fitted with a 16-inch diameter gas pipeline which went off with a big bang disrupting gas supply from well no 5, 7 and 19 to the gas purification plant. The law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot soon after the explosion and cordoned off the area. Repair work on the pipeline started in order to restore gas supply to the purification plant. Police registered a case against unidentified persons and started investigations. staff report
