ANF havaldar gunned down in Panjgur

QUETTA: An ANF havaldar was gunned down in Panjgur Bazaar on Thursday. According to official sources, unidentified armed men wearing masks and riding a motorcycle, opened fire on the victim, killing him on the spot. The assailants managed to escape from the scene. A large number of Frontier Corps personnel and policemen rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area. The deceased, identified as Havaldar Farooq, a resident of Sargodha, was taken to the Panjgur DHQ Hospital for an autopsy. staff report
