Courts to observe Eid holidays from November 27 to 30

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Khawaja Muhammad Sharif has announced four holidays for Eidul Azha.

The LHC principal seat, its three benches in Rawalpindi, Multan and Bahawalpur and civil and sessions courts in Punjab will observe the holidays from November 27 to 30.

SCBA meeting on Dec 1: The meeting of the newly elected executive body of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) will be held on December 1.

SCBA President Qazi Muhammad Anwar will preside the meeting to be held at the Karachi Shuhada Hall of the Lahore High Court Bar Association.

Justice Ijaz appointed administrative judge of ATCs: Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer has appointed Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry of the Lahore High Court (LHC) administrative judge of the Anti-Terrorism Courts (ATCs) in Punjab and Islamabad.
