President orders renovation of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar mausoleum

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday directed the concerned authorities to carry out a detailed survey for the renovation and preservation of the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar mausoleum.

He said this at a presentation given to him on the proposed renovation of the mausoleum. He said the cultural assets of Pakistan must be preserved and protected so that people from around the world, who wanted to learn about these cultural assets could benefit from them. He directed the concerned authorities to renovate and preserve the mausoleum facilitate visiting pilgrims.
