PPP leaders ready to face cases
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Secretary General Jehangir Badr on Saturday said PPP leaders were ready to face cases against them in court as they had done in the past. Commenting on the list of NRO beneficiaries, Badr said around 8,000 people, including President Asif Ali Zardari, had benefited from NRO. MQM vows to face criminal cases in courts

ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party (ANP) leader Senator Haji Adeel on Saturday said President Asif Ali Zardari was jailed for a decade without any proof of the charges levelled against him. Haji Adeel said none of the allegations against Zardari had been proven and he had been imprisoned without proof, while certain politicians were released after 10 to 15 days through “deals” with rulers. app

ISLAMABAD: PML-Q Secretary General Mushahid Hussain on Saturday welcomed the government’s initiative of making the NRO beneficiaries' list public, which he said was a longstanding demand of his party.
