Baloch position holding students honoured

Staff Report

RAWALPINDI: The position holders of Balochistan were presented guard of honour by the Punjab Police at the Punjab House Murree on Friday on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

The programme was organised as part of efforts to promote harmony among the provinces. The District Coordination Officer (DCO) Rawalpindi Imdadullah was chief guest on the occasion. Other senior officers were also present.

The students appreciated the gesture of the Punjab government, which, according to them, provided them an opportunity to visit new places.

The DCO said students from other provinces would also be taken on study tours to various cities of Punjab. He hoped that such visits would go a long way in promoting inter-provincial harmony.
