Warrant for Sindh labour minister issued again

Staff Report

KARACHI: Additional District and Sessions Judge (West) Ahmed Saba again issued a non-bailable warrant against Sindh Minister for Labour Amir Nawab for Dec 10 in a case of attempt to murder, arson etc.

The same judge had issued a similar warrant against the Nawab on Oct 28 as well.

The court ordered serving of the summons to the Sindh minister through the Sindh Assembly secretary.

The warrant was issued as Nawab failed to appear before the court despites summons issued against him on many previous occasions.

The accused was booked by the Pirabad police on a complaint filed by a union council nazim of Jamaat-e-Islami, Muhammad Hanif, who had alleged that in 2005, the accused accompanied by his supporters and others, attacked his house, and injured his nephew Usman.
