Sacked revenue employees protest in Quetta

QUETTA: Several sacked employees of the Balochistan Board of Revenue rallied in front of Quetta Press Club on Wednesday to protest their termination by Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani.

The chief minister had recently sacked all “freshly appointed” employees on the grounds that their appointments were not made in view of the standard rules and regulations set for such appointments. Ahmed Yar Baloch headed the protest rally, and the protesting officials chanted slogans against the PPP government. staff report
