Law-enforcement agencies arrest 200 suspects

Staff Report

RAWALPINDI: The city police in collaboration with other law-enforcement agencies on Tuesday arrested 200 suspects from the Fauji Colony and adjoining areas in the limits of Pirwadhai police station, police spokesman said.

He said the Afghans and those living on rent were the primary focus of the agencies. He said that 175 houses were searched, while 510 individuals were quizzed.

He added majority of the arrested were those who failed to prove their identity. “The police high-ups have strictly ordered the subordinates to keep an eye on suspects,” he elaborated.
