PML-N hasn’t changed stance on Musharraf’s trial

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has not changed its stance on the trial of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf under Article 6 of the constitution, PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi said on Monday. Talking to Shahzeb Khanzada on his programme ‘Newsline’ on Business Plus TV, he said parliament was a “rubber stamp” as there was no difference between the current and the previous governments. Abbasi claimed that the PML-N had not benefited from the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO). He said politicians should clear themselves from the independent judiciary. The PML-N leader added that some people had urged PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif to get benefit from the NRO, but the latter refused. daily times monitor
