Government sincere in resolving Balochistan’s problems: Malik

ISLAMABAD: The government is sincere in its resolve to address all of Balochistan’s problems, Interior Minister Rehman Malik told a Baloch delegation on Saturday. Led by MNA Mir Ahmedan Bugti, the delegates called on Malik to discuss various issues concerning the province. The delegation assured the minister that they would fully cooperate with the government to improve the law and order situation of the province. Malik said the government was taking concrete steps to resolve the problems of Balochistan and ensure its prosperity and development. The minister expressed satisfaction over law and order in the province, adding full cooperation would be extended to the provincial government to further improve security. PPP Balochistan President Senator Nawab Lashkari Raisani also called on the interior minister and discussed various issues including smuggling through the border with Iran. app
