40 suspected Taliban held in Bajaur Agency
KHAR: Security forces and political administration (PA) on Thursday arrested 40 suspected Taliban in a search operation in Bajaur Agency, officials said. PA officials told Daily Times they had arrested the men from Khar, headquarters of the agency. They said the Taliban had been shifted to the headquarters prison. Separately, the Taliban attacked a security forces checkpost at Jangzai area of tehsil Mamoond, but no casualties were reported. Later, security forces pounded Taliban hideouts with heavy artillery. staff report
