‘No sugar shortage in Sindh’

KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Shazia Marri has reiterated that sugar crisis would be controlled within next week and sugar would be provided to the masses at Rs 40 per kg. Talking to the media here Monday, she said the Sindh government has abundance of sugar, but the main issue was the speedy provision of this sugar in the markets, as the provincial government was committed towards ensuring its fair distribution of the sugar. She also said the Sindh government has initiated a campaign against sugar hoarders. staff report
