PML-N submits adjournment motion
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday submitted an adjournment motion to the National Assembly Secretariat on the alleged purchase of a 300-acre piece of land by a company, allegedly owned by President Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The adjournment motion refers to a news item that appeared in a section of the press which reported that the company had purchased a piece of prime land in Islamabad at a throwaway price. PML-N lawmakers submitted that it was a grave matter that the head of the state and his son had purchased the land so cheaply by using their influence. staff report
