Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan to extend bilateral trade ties
RAWALPINDI: Kyrgyzstan is eager to extend bilateral trade relation with Pakistan and Pakistani products should be given place on priority basis in Kyrgyz market, said Akylbek Japrove Minister for trade of Kyrgyzstan. He was exchanging these views with a delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) led by former President Syed Asad Mashadi here in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) on Friday. He said that Kyrgyzstan was serious to increase trade activities with Pakistan and always welcomed Pakistani business community to explore Kargyz markets. “Visits of businessmen should be kept ongoing in future”, he added. On the occasion Asad Mashadi said that bilateral trade will benefited for both the countries as he was of the view that prevailing global economic recession can be countered through it. He further said that Pakistani exporters are interested to introduce new products and Kyrgyz government should help them in this regard. He stressed that countering the war on terror Pakistan only want trade with the world economic powers. We never wanted aid or anything like that, he added. He on the behalf of Rawalpindi Chamber also invited the honourable minister to visit RCCI. Trade minister lauded the services of Rawalpindi Chamber for the businessmen community of the region and assured his full support to the RCCI. Delegation included Vice President Khawaja Abdul Rashid Waien, Raja Aamir Iqbal, Ch. Imtaiz, Col. Zafar Jamal, Abdul Quddus, Asif Zafar and Sannullah. staff report
