Asif Zardari for all-out facilities to haj pilgrims

Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday asked Religious Affairs Minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi to ensure maximum facilities for haj pilgrims and make additional arrangements for senior citizens performing haj this year.

Zardari was speaking at a meeting with the minister, who had called on him at the Presidency after recovering from injuries sustained during an assassination attempt. Kazmi apprised the president about various measures taken by his ministry for haj, including the several facilitation centres, established in Saudi Arabia to help the pilgrims.
