Qureshi links better Pak-India ties to resolution of Kashmir issue
MUZAFFARABAD: The resolution of Kashmir dispute is vital for better ties between Pakistan and India, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Monday. He was talking to reporters after visiting the Usmania Jamia Mosque – built with the assistance of the Turkish government. Qureshi said there was a dire need to resolve the issue in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiris. The foreign minister said Pakistan had invited Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the resumption of composite dialogue, which was imperative for ensuring peace in the region. The foreign minister expressed satisfaction over the pace of development in Muzaffarabad, which was devastated by the October 2005 earthquake. app
