Three Hizbut Tahrir men granted bail

RAWALPINDI: The Anti Terrorism Court- I (ATC) on Monday granted bail to three members of Hizbut Tahrir arrested by the Margallah Police.

The three petitioners Imran Khan, Tahir Sadozai and Junaid Khan had submitted a bail application to the court. The court granted bail to them on Rs 50,000 surety bonds each.

The police had arrested banned outfit’s 31 members including Bilal Awan, Ch Waqar, Zaheer Khan, Ghulam Nabi, Usman, Sarfaraz Khalid, SaifUllah, Usman Jamshed, Raja Junaid, Ahsan Manzoor, Irfan Ali, Zameer, Rameez, Aqeel Israr, Rizwan, Zakir Azeem and others on October 17.

The arrested men were engaged in a secret meeting at that time in sector F-8/3. The same court has already granted bail to 28 others.
