Earthquake jolts Balochistan, Sindh

LAHORE: A 5.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Quetta, Khuzdaar, Mustung, Sibi, Dera Murad Jamali, Sui, Kandhkot, Much, Jacobabad, Kharaan and other parts of Balochistan and Sindh, a private TV channel reported on Sunday. According to the channel, people in Balochistan rushed out of their houses as the earthquake hit. Parts of Sindh including Qambar, Sukkur, Rohri, Larkana and Ubaro also experienced earthquake shocks. No casualties were reported until the filing of this report. Online reported that the epicentre of the tremor was 300 kilometres southwest of Balochistan. daily times monitor/ online
