Over 100 suspects arrested across Pakistan
LAHORE: Law-enforcement agencies have arrested over 100 suspected militants – including foreigners – from various areas of the country, according to a private TV channel and various news agencies. According to the channel, police and Rangers arrested 13 Afghan nationals – including women and children – from the Balochistan-Sindh border. Meanwhile, law-enforcement agencies raided two Karachi-bound passenger buses in Kashmore, arresting 35 Afghan nationals, including eight women and three children. In Mardan, an important Taliban leader – identified only as Faisal – was arrested. In Islamabad, police arrested 38 suspects, including 18 Afghans nationals.
