Two policemen remanded in custody

RAWALPINDI: Magistrate Ghulam Mustafa Yazdani on Sunday granted the RA Bazaar police four days physical remand of the two police officials suspected of involvement in issuance of fake driving licences.

Constables Zafar Abbas of the Regional Police Officer’s office and Azeem Dar of the City Police Officer’s office were arrested Saturday night. They allegedly used to give fake driving licenses to the people, especially public transport drivers, in the region’s four districts on payment.
