21,000 SWA families reach DI Khan, Tank

PESHAWAR: Arrival of South Waziristan Agency internally displaced persons (IDPs) to Dera Ismail Khan and Tank districts continued and 21,000 families reached there by Saturday. According to a Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) statement, the provincial government has so far distributed Rs 5,000 cash grant among each of 5,299 displaced families. The statement said that the central control room and helpline established in PDMA Peshawar was serving the affectees and other stakeholders round the clock. staff report
