PTCL management criticised

KARACHI: Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has strongly criticised the management of PTCL for not resolving customers’ queries for about two months. In a statement issued to press, Khurram Saigal, Chairman, Communication Sub-Committee of KCCI has said that PTCL management has not paid any attention to KCCI’s complaints for the last two months. He said that business activities are more dependent on telecommunication system.

He pointed out that the bills being received by PTCL customers are reflecting the arrears despite the bills paid within due date of every month. Consequently, the telephone lines do not work and get attached recording as “your Telephone number is temporarily disconnected” creating another disturbance for the masses. This problem has emerged and complaints are being made by a huge number of PTCL customers since July. staff report
