No injury marks on blast victims’ bodies handed over by Iran

* Authorities believe 5 Pashtuns killed for ‘links’ with Jundullah

By Malik Siraj Akbar

QUETTA: Iranian border authorities on Friday handed over the bodies of five Pakistani nationals to their Pakistani counterparts at the Taftan border – saying the men had been killed in a recent suicide attack, but there were no injury marks on the bodies to indicate the men were killed in the attack, according to the Taftan Levies Force.

Border officials said they had received the bodies of five Pashtuns – who had been described by Iran as “victims of the Pishin blast”. However, there were no wound marks, and local authorities believe the five were killed for alleged links with Jundullah.
