Seven-year-old girl killed in road mishap

KARACHI: At least four people, including a seven-year-old girl, died in separate road mishaps on Monday in different parts of the city.

As per details, a seven-year-old girl was killed near the Jinnah Terminal. The Airport police said that Saima Asghar had her head outside the window of a moving bus when a metallic object struck her head and immediately killed her.

Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man was killed near New Sabzi Mandi on the Super Highway. The Sohrab Goth police said that Heera Chand was trying to cross the road when a speeding vehicle crushed him to death.

Separately, a 45-year-old man was killed near Shabana Cinema in Shah Faisal Colony No 2. The Shah Faisal Colony police said that Abdul Sattar was sitting on the lifter when he suddenly fell from the vehicle and was crushed to death by a crane.

In another incident, a 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed near Numaish Chowrangi. The Jamshed Quarters police said that Sohail Mohammad Saleem, an employee of a local media group, was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
