21 Taliban killed in Bajaur, Waziristan

KHAR: At least 15 Taliban were killed and 16 others injured after security forces launched ‘Operation Sherdil’ in Mamoond and Salarzai tehsils of Bajaur Agency on Monday, said sources, as jets bombed Taliban positions in South Waziristan – killing six Taliban. Security forces said that three Taliban hideouts were destroyed in the Bajaur raids. The AP news agency reported that fighter jets bombed suspected Taliban hideouts. Meanwhile, 26 Taliban surrendered to the authorities in Laghari area of Mamoond. hasbanullah khan
