Gilani discusses Balochistan package with PPP MNAs

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday discussed proposed Balochistan package with Pakistan People’s Party lawmakers from Sindh.

Gilani said the government had formulated a comprehensive package for the province. He said the government would take all political parties on board on the package. He said the PPP was a symbol of federation and had roots across the country, including the four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the Gilgit-Baltistan. He said the PPP was the only party, which could steer the country out of the current crises. Talking about military offensive in Malakand division, the prime minister said the backbone of terrorist had been broken and they were surrendering to the Pakistan Army.

The lawmakers informed Gilani about matters related to their constituencies. The MNAs who attended the meeting included Faryal Talpur, Aftab Shaban Meerani, Nauman Islam Sheikh, Mian Abdul Haq alias Mian Mithoo, Nazir Ahmed Baghio, Mir Amer Ali Khan Magsi, Gul Muhammad Jakhrani, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Mir Nawab Ali Wassan, Syed Amir Ali Shah, Mrs. Shamshad Sattar Bachani, Ghulam Ali Nizamani, Mir Munawwar Ali Talpur, Nawab Muhammad Yousuf Talpur, Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur, Talat Iqbal, Roshanuddin Junejo, Abdul Qadir Patel, Sher Muhammad Baloch, Farahnaz Isphahani and Sherry Rehman.
