Killer sentenced to death

RAWALPINDI: A sessions court on Friday sentenced a man to death for killing a wagon driver.

Additional Sessions Judge Raja Pervaiz Akhter sentenced Muhammad Saddique to death for killing Muhammad Saeed. The convict was also fined Rs 100,000.

Westridge police had arrested Muhammad Saddique on the charge of killing Muhammad Saeed last year.

Muhammad Saeed was coming from Taxila when Saddique asked him to stop the wagon before the stop. Saeed refused to stop the wagon that led to an exchange of hot words between the two. Saddique pulled out his pistol and shot at Muhammad Saeed, killing him on the spot. staff report
