Dir operation violation of peace deal: TNSM

LAHORE: TNSM spokesman Izatt Khan has said that the operation by security forces in Lower Dir is a ‘violation’ of the Swat peace deal. Talking to a private TV channel, the spokesman claimed that the house and a seminary owned by TNSM chief Maulana Sufi Muhammad had also been damaged in the operation. He said, “The government is responsible for this damage.” Troops launched the offensive in Lower Dir early on Sunday. daily times monitor
