Woman falls prey to ‘honour killing’

ISLAMABAD: A man allegedly killed his sister on Thursday night in the limits of Koral Police Station.

A police official said Shakeel allegedly killed his sister Rahila Tabasum as she married with Shoaib, a resident of Chakwal, without consent of her family members.

The police after getting the information they reached the scene and shifted the body to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for autopsy.

The PIMS sources said the woman was stabbed to death and she also received bullets on different parts of her body. The police handed over the body to the deceased relatives and registered an FIR against the accused. The investigation is underway.

Body found: Secretariat police on Friday found a body of a woman from Rawal Dam.

According to police, they found the body of a 35-year-old woman, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, on the information of Rawal Dam management. They said the woman apparently died two-day ago. The body was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for autopsy.
