Jets kill four Taliban in Bajaur
KHAR: Fighter jets on Sunday attacked suspected Taliban hideouts in Bajaur Agency, killing four people, an official said.
The jets struck the hideouts in Mamoond district, local administration official Mohammad Jamil told AFP. “Four Taliban were killed in an airstrike. They were busy digging trenches near a roadside when jets targeted them,” he said.
Meanwhile, at least two men were killed and two others injured in three missile attacks by the Taliban on various areas of Bannu district on Sunday, police sources said, NNI reported.
The two men were killed when a missile landed in the Cantonment area.
The Taliban fired a missile at a Communication and Works Department workshop, but no casualty was reported.
Sources said two missiles landed in an open area near railway tracks. agencies
