Former IB chief leaves for Australia

LAHORE: Former Intelligence Bureau chief and presidential aide Brigadier (r) Ijaz Shah left for Australia on Monday from Allama Iqbal Airport aboard Singapore Airlines, FIA officials told Aaj Kal. According to agency officials, Shah was not stopped because his name was not included in the Exit Control List (ECL). The police escort provided to Shah by the caretaker government has been withdrawn. Shah could not be reached for comment. aaj kal
