Chelsy slums it in Leeds

Prince Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy has moved into a dingy terraced house in a rundown part of Leeds. The millionaire’s daughter is slumming it with three pals in student digs costing her £55 a week. Zimbabwean Chelsy, 21, had been expected to splash out on a luxury riverside flat for her two-year law degree in Leeds. But instead she opted for the red-brick terraced house in the city’s Hyde Park area.

In desperate need of a lick of paint, the digs come with a skip full of rubbish outside. It lies just five minutes’ walk from a road labelled “Britain’s most burgled street”. A nearby house was swooped on by cops after London’s 2005 terror attacks, amid fears it was a bomb factory. It is not known if Harry will visit her there.

Chelsy, whose dad is a safari boss, previously lived in a Cape Town villa with a maid and pool. Her dad recently vowed to pay for security guards because she does not qualify for Royal protection. ananova
