Pak-Afghan security forces clash over post

KABUL: Pakistani and Afghan border security forces clashed over the establishment of a check post in Arya district on the Pak-Afghan border the other night. Paktia province security commander Gen Matiullah Rehmani told Bakhtar news agency that the establishment of the check post led to a clash between “Pakistani militia” and Afghan border security forces that lasted half an hour. Later, a delegation of tribal leaders was sent to the area to probe the incident and report to the authorities, he added. online
