Photograph exhibition at Nairang Gallery

LAHORE: A photograph exhibition will be held at Nairang Gallery, starting from August 26 August (Saturday) till August 28 (Monday).

Shahid Malik, the gallery’s manager, told Daily Times that the exhibition featured more than 80 photographs by 20 Pakistani and foreign photographers. Nairang gallery has always encouraged these new photographers, he added. Yasir Nisar, Rizwan Ghais, Usman Ahmed, Zaherr Sattar, Jawad Zakaraya, Srosh Anwar, Muzaffar Bukhari, Aariana, Babar haroon Manghi, Ahmad R Shah, Usman Mir, Khalid Saeed Bukhari, Yousaf Fayyaz, Asadullah Tahir, Imran Ahmad Khan, Ansar Pall, Zahid Ali Khan and Ejaz Asi are part of this exhibiting their work. Saima Khan, an art student, told Daily times that Photography Club of Pakistan (PCOP), a platform for new and upcoming artists, had taken the initiative to promote photography, and the art of producing images or objects on photosensitive surfaces was a growing field in Pakistan.
