JKLF will help quake victims on both sides of LoC
Staff Report
LAHORE: Muhammad Yasin Malik, chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), on Monday said that his party would use its resources for the rehabilitation of October 8 earthquake victims on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC).
Addressing leaders of the JKLF Punjab chapter before leaving for New Delhi, Yasin Malik paid tribute to the Pakistani nation for their support to the people of Azad Kashmir during the natural calamity and said that the earthquake had proved that Kashmir was not only a political issue but a human issue too. He added that divided Kashmiri families could not help each other because of the LoC.
The JKLF chairman directed the party’s Punjab leadership to reorganise the party on war footings and make all efforts to expedite the rehabilitation process of the calamity-stricken people.
