KARACHI - The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$14,450.2 million on July 18, 2014. This was stated in a press release issued by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) here on Thursday.
The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:
1-Foreign reserves held by the SBP are US$ 9,398.8 million.
2-Net Foreign reserves held by banks are US$ 5,051.4 million.
3-Total liquid foreign reserves are US$ 4,450.2 million.
During the week ending July 18, SBP's Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US$87 million to US$9,399 million compared to US$9,486 million in the previous week.
During the week ending July 18, SBP has made payments of US$69 million on account of external debt servicing and other official payments. However State Bank did not receive any significant inflows during this week, it added.
