LAHORE: China Agro Chemical (CAC) Pakistan Summit and Pak-China Agro Chemical Expo will be held on August 5-6, 2014 at Lahore Expo Centre.
President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Sohail Lashari at a press conference on Mondaysaid Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chinese Ambassador would attend the event.
Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research and Dr Farukh Javed Punjab Minister for Agriculture were taking interest in this mega event.
He said CAC Pakistan would provide a joint forum to government officials and industry professionals to highlight the benefits of using pesticides, fertilizers, processed seeds, latest yet affordable agri-equipment and machinery.
China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) partnered with LCCI in connection with holding CAC Pakistan 2014.
Major companies of Pakistan and China booked about 120 stalls related to agriculture and its sub sectors.
This would add another chapter of success in the history of international exhibitions in Pakistan around 23 Chinese companies are participating in this event.
Around 60 stalls booked by Chinese companies would exhibit state of the art technologies and solutions improving the productivity of agro-based commodities and also to keep the crops free from hazards.
Leading groups and companies of Pakistan associated with different sub-sectors of agriculture have confirmed their participation in CAC Pakistan.
These companies will manifest their range of products on almost 60 stalls to visiting importers, distributors and farmers from Pakistan and neighbouring countries.
