Govt utilising all resources to complete energy projects: Asif

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the present government is utilizing all available resources to complete several energy projects. 
He said that energy would be generated through solar, wind, hydel, coal, and other resources. Talking to a private television channel, he said that efforts are being made to control theft in gas and electricity departments. 
He said that the problem of loadshedding would be reduced after completion of small and mega projects. 
The Minister said that a huge amount is being spent on the power projects to meet domestic and commercial demand. He said that Nandipur power project had started producing electricity. 
Khawaja Asif said that Neelum-Jhelum and the next phase of Mangla and Tarbella would generate sufficient energy. 
He said that the task of Gaddani and Jamshoro project would be accomplished in near future.  
To a question he said that the people of South Punjab would get benefit from Quaid-i-Azam solar project. Minister said that steps have been taken to remove corruption in the water and power sectors. 
To another question he said that the people will not participate in the protest rallies of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf.
Defence Minister said that the government is taking measures to ensure rule of law in the country. He said that PTI chief should discuss the matters or issues at the forum of parliament. Giving comments on Musharraf case, he said that court will decide the matter. He said that all the institutions should work under their defined parameters. Replying to another question he said that media should play effective role in the society.
